Overview
This is a rare facial pain which causes pain down the throat, along the tongue and in the jaw.
Symptoms & Diagnosis
Electric shock or burning pain is described which can last seconds to minutes and tends to occur on one side of the face. It is commonly triggered by swallowing, talking, or coughing.
